Physics is a foundational subject that unlocks a world of opportunities for those who engage with it. Access to quality learning resources is crucial for building a strong understanding of physics. We are committed to working collaboratively with our peers to strengthen our knowledge and skills, while also inspiring younger students by introducing them to the fundamentals of physics and science in an engaging and accessible way.

Tiffany Ren, Co-Founder and President
Tiffany Ren is in the class of 2026 with a strong passion and aptitude for physics. Despite having no prior coursework in the subject, she took AP Physics C in 10th grade and earned a score of 5 on both the Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism exams. In June 2024, she interned at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research. She was enrolled in Columbia University’s pre-college program for Astronomy and Astrophysics, further deepening her interest in the field. Outside of academics, Tiffany is a pianist studying at the Manhattan School of Music. She also enjoys sailing and reading, and aspires to pursue a career in physics.

Harry Gao, Co-Founder and President
Harry is in the Class of 2027 at Ward Melville High School. Harry has participated in MAA math competitions for six years, receiving the Distinguished Honor Roll on the AMC10 and qualifying for the USAJMO (USA Junior Math Olympiad) competition. In addition, Harry has been a teaching assistant in competitive math courses for organizations such as the Three Village STEM Foundation. He also won a silver medal in the USAPhO (USA Physics Olympiad), placing in the top 104 nationally and achieving the best performance in New York State. Outside of academics, Harry is a competitive swimmer and a musician, having performed as a pianist and vocalist for various events.

Jason Yin, Instructor
Jason Yin, class of 2027 at Ward Melville Senior High School, earned the prestigious title of national champion in SONT Meteorology '23 and has achieved multiple gold medals in the field of Meteorology in SciO. His passion lies in contemplating weather phenomena and delving analytically into the intricate reasoning behind atmospheric movements. In addition to his SciO accomplishments, Jason helped his team place 3rd in the Regionals MS Science Bowl '23 and clinched 1st place in the Middle School Physics Olympiad at Gelinas.
